About the Reese’s Book Club In-Vehicle App

Each month, Reese Witherspoon, our founder (and book-lover-in-chief), chooses a book with a woman at the center of the story. There’s not a formula to the books we spotlight, and we like it that way. We make our choices thoughtfully and look for ways to deepen our connection to books, authors and ourselves. 
 

Powered by Audiobooks.com*, an active subscription is required to access select features. The Reese’s Book Club In-Vehicle App can be found on compatible infotainment systems* and requires an eligible OnStar Plan*.

Getting started

To get started, download the Reese’s Book Club In-Vehicle App through APPS*. When your vehicle is in PARK, tap the APPS icon on your vehicle’s infotainment screen, then swipe until you see REESE’S BOOK CLUB.
 

Launch the app by tapping the REESE’S BOOK CLUB icon on your vehicle’s infotainment screen once it has been downloaded. Once the app is open, accept the Audiobooks.com Terms and Conditions to continue.
 

An Audiobooks.com membership is required to listen to full audiobooks. Tap “Get Started” to sign in to Audiobooks.com. If you do not have an existing Audiobooks.com membership, you will see an option to call a representative to set up an account. You can either tap the option to call or press CANCEL to back out.
 

You can also set up an Audiobooks.com account by going to Audiobooks.com or by downloading the Audiobooks.com mobile app.
 

Once you’re done setting up your account, you can purchase credits to download audiobooks. 
 

Podcasts are available for free without an Audiobooks.com account.

Screen controls

When you open the Reese’s Book Club In-Vehicle app, you’ll see several tabs. These tabs will help you play and navigate content.
 

Here’s what each tab does:
 

NOW PLAYING shows you the content you are currently listening to, the names of the author and book narrator, and how much time is left in the audiobook. You can also skip to the next or previous book, fast-forward and rewind.
 

BOOKS BY MONTH shows you Reese Witherspoon’s current recommendations and previous picks for books of the month. If you have not connected your Audiobooks.com account, you can play a free sample of book picks or sign in to an account to purchase the full book.
 

BOOKS BY GENRE lets you browse through genres such as Non-Fiction, Memoir, Romance and more.
 

PODCASTS lets you browse and select podcasts to listen to.
 

MY BOOKS lists your Reese’s Book Club purchases in the order that you’ve listened to them, starting with the most recent.
 

Tap the GEAR icon in the lower-right corner to access SETTINGS. Here, you can sign in to your Audiobooks.com account, set up an Audiobooks.com account if you have not already done so or learn more about Reese’s Book Club.

For your security, please don’t include personal info such as phone number, address or credit card details.

Is Reese’s Book Club available while I’m driving?

Yes, but some app functions are not available while the vehicle is in motion. However, you can listen to podcasts and audiobooks while driving.

How do I start or cancel an Audiobooks.com subscription?

When you start up the Reese’s Book Club In-Vehicle App, you’ll see an option to call an Audiobooks.com representative to set up an account if you do not already have one. You can also create an Audiobooks.com account by going to Audiobooks.com or by downloading the Audiobooks.com mobile app.

 

To cancel your Audiobooks.com account, you must call an Audiobooks.com customer service representative, go to Audiobooks.com or use the Audiobooks.com mobile app. 

Do I need an Audiobooks.com subscription to use this app?

The Reese’s Book Club In-Vehicle App requires an Audiobooks.com subscription to listen to audiobooks. However, you can listen to podcasts through Reese’s Book Club without an Audiobooks.com account. Once you sign up for an account, you’ll have access to the full Audiobooks.com app on your infotainment system. You can also create an Audiobooks.com account through the Audiobooks.com In-Vehicle App, Audiobooks.com mobile app or Audiobooks.com website.

 

Once you’ve set up an account, you can access more Audiobooks.com content by downloading the Audiobooks.com In-Vehicle App on your infotainment system.

How do I purchase credits to download audiobooks?

To purchase and download audiobooks, you have to add credits to your Audiobooks.com account.
 

To add credits through the Reese’s Book Club In-Vehicle App, you will need to follow prompts within the app to call a customer service representative with Audiobooks.com who will help you complete the checkout process to add credits with the credit card you have on file with Audiobooks.com.
